Two Sisters, Two Stories, One Mission: The Heart Behind Simply Undefined

Every business has a beginning, and ours started with family, love, and a whole lot of life’s chaos. We’re two sisters—living in different states, raising big families, and navigating very different journeys—yet united by one mission: to make calm simple for kids and families.

Christy’s Story: Calm in the Chaos

I’m Christy—mama to five kids and wife to an Army veteran. For years, our family moved from place to place with the military, packing up and starting over more times than I can count. Over five years ago, we finally settled in Hudson, Ohio, and it has become the place we’re proud to call home.

Life in a house full of kids is busy, loud, and unpredictable. Before becoming a full-time mom and business owner, I worked in the mental health industry and as a teacher. Both experiences gave me a deep understanding of how important it is for kids—and their parents—to have simple tools to reset, regulate, and find peace in the middle of the everyday whirlwind.

That understanding, paired with the reality of raising five kids, planted the seed for Simply Undefined.

Kelly’s Story: Calm Through Challenges

I’m Kelly—mom to three wonderful kids, living in Georgia. My journey into motherhood has looked a little different. Two of my children live with PANS/PANDAS, a condition that impacts both their health and daily lives. Walking alongside them has changed how I view calm, connection, and what families truly need.

Over the years, our family has moved from California to Washington, D.C., with plenty of stops in between. Each new place brought fresh challenges and opportunities to rebuild, and through it all, I’ve learned the importance of creating a sense of stability and calm at home, no matter where we were.

Parenting with these unique challenges isn’t always easy, but it has shaped me in the best ways and fueled my passion to create something meaningful—not only for my own kids, but for others, too. Simply Undefined became more than a business idea; it became a mission rooted in love, resilience, and the hope of giving families tools that make life just a little bit lighter.

Our stories are different, but our hearts are the same. Together, as sisters, we wanted to build something that blended our experiences and poured back into our families and communities. That’s how Simply Undefined was born.
